
Background
National University of Singapore(NUS) Library 3D Map is a virtual reality model of NUS Libraries which allows users to navigate around in a 3D environment and familiarise themselves with facilities available inside the library. Peekspy improves on the effectiveness of 2D maps in navigating around the library by allowing users to navigate the actual space while providing useful information for students. It is accessible over the Internet from the university website, giving both local and international staff, students and visitors the opportunity to explore the campus library and their facilities off-site. The National University of Singapore (NUS) Library, was the first customer of my startup, Peekspy. For this project, we had to bid via the Singapore Government GeBiz procurement system, and we won the bid against other bidders.

My Role
As co-founder, I lead the product strategy, business and design of the NUS library project, and regularly met with our customer, which consisted of staff from various departments of the Library.
Ideation
The model however provides much more than just navigational assistance. A secured administration website was designed for the library staff to customize diverse tours inside the library by simply selecting the facilities of interest. The staff can also easily and instantly upload interactive information, text, pictures and/or videos to be displayed about that particular facility.
